How to Default Grandstream IP Phones to Factory Defaults
Restore to Factory Default via the LCD Menu
- Press MENU button to bring up the keypad configuration menu.
- Select “System” or “Config” and enter.
- Select “Factory Reset”.
- A warning window will pop out to make sure a reset is requested and confirmed.
- Press the “OK” softkey to confirm and the phone will reboot. To cancel the Reset, press “Cancel” softkey instead.
This should work for most models of Grandstream VoIP GXP phones but specifically for the GXP1600 Series
Restore to Factory Default via the Web GUI
- Login GXP1610/GXP1615/GXP1620/GXP1625/GXP1628/GXP1630 Web GUI.
- Direct at the top right corner of the web page, click “Factory Reset” button to reset the device.
